I’ve lived in Rhode Island my whole life and, like many folks here, I’m perfectly content to stay for another 50 years. My wife, however, hails from Lima, Peru, and in many ways, she’s the perfect yin to my yang.
She’s gotten me out of my shell a lot over the years, even taking me on a few trips to Peru where we saw the famous elongated skulls in person.
I’m not an author, illustrator, researcher, or website developer. My background is in SaaS, which is… okay. Luckily, with my wife’s help, we managed to buy a house just before the pandemic hit, and it’s been a source of great fulfillment.
I love being at home. My ideal day involves rain pouring down, some fresh herb, and the company of my wife, friend, or cat.
I also have a serious passion for video games. As an only child who moved frequently, Pokémon Red on Game Boy was my sanctuary
I was the best Super Smash Bros. player in my neighborhood, and the first time I saw World of Warcraft on my cousin’s CRT monitor was life-changing.
League of Legends’ yearly cinematic still gives me nerd chills, even after the 10X viewing.
Dante Santori’s “Introduction to the Alien Races Book” is one of the few books I’ve read, re-read, and returned to again. Given his limited resources, we’re lucky to have what we do from him.
That said, I always felt it deserved better. That's why I decided to make my own version.
